The Gospel Stage Play "A Song of Life In the Key of Pain" was an excellent production! . If you missed it, then you missed a wonderful time at Central CT State University. Producer and Director Colin Ivan Osborn did his "thang" and his amazingly talented cast owned the stage!!!! Oh and the incredible live band who performed the score for this epic production was also very tight. |
The Gospel Stage Play "A Song of Life In the Key of Pain" was phenomenal. It depicted the hurt and pain that people endure in and outside of the church and the healing that can be experienced through Godly love and faith.

The messages in this play are powerful and truthful. Watching this production forced me to see who we are as a people, in addition to how we truly are in congregations all over. I laughed. I cried. I pondered and now I am processing. I don't want people to experience what the characters in this play had to experience. "A Song Of Life In The Key Of Pain" is the truth. Even with its comedy and amazing music, the message..the truth is told. Anyone who sees this play can't deny that.

A SONG OF LIFE IN THE KEY OF PAIN is an emotional story about Praise and Worship leader Eddie Charles and his renowned praise team. Normally when we see a praise team, we see a group of individuals who collectively come together and perform for the congregation every Sunday. But what we don't see is who they really are and what they really go through behind the mic stand. So, what is really going on with this praise team in particular? You are going to find out and you will be surprised. As the leader of this famed group of singers, Eddie’s turbulent life and personal struggles are highlighted and exposed to the world, which in turn forces his group to deal with their deeply rooted issues. Does Eddie break and give into all that he is dealing with or does he stand on his faith and lead his group into the next level of ministry? Does he possess the endurance to stand as a true man of God in the face of adversity? Can Eddie change the overall tune of A SONG OF LIFE IN THE KEY OF PAIN?
